• US markets had a good week, +3.3%.
  • But the real action was overseas.  Austria +9.4%, Brazil +8.2%, Czech Republic +7.3%, Hungary +12%, Irleland +7.2%, Mexico +7.3%, Poland +10.2%, Sweden +11% and Turkey +7.6%.
  • Now that Obama has put a dagger into Bush/Cheney’s nation building once and for all the investment gods are awakening all over the world.
  • Monday could be a soft day with Turnaround Tuesday continuing the rally. Am thinking of buying EEM tomorrow.  This is an emerging market ETF, although this fund seems to be highly weighted towards Asia and Brazil.  Not Eastern Europe where the best action seems to be.  iShares offers country-specific funds, like Austria and Sweden, but these work best in a roaring bull market.  Not a rally in a bear market.
  • I closed out my DOW postion with a good gain and would like to buy it back.  I day traded it as well on Friday.
