- There is some serious talk about a bull market in the making.
- Still holding my breath as I add to positions as well as head into the dreaded financials; adding to GE and initiating BAC.
- IPO’s are going to premiums.
- Financials and techs are leading the closing hour.
- That, friends, are strong signals.
- Now, if we can just reconcile falling housing prices, lower housing starts, credit card defaults, rising unemployment……………well, you get my drift.
Had a great day on the links. Didn’t keep score, of course, but loved the day. Only lost three balls. Played at the Donald Ross designed Muni course. Ernie and I played with a young couple we met. She is from Miami of South Korean mother and Black American father. Georgeous. He from a tiny town in Virginia. Both in the Marines and in Wilmington for weekend leave. She is stationed in Costa Rica and he at Camp LeJeune. My wife wanted to me to find out what she was doing in CR but I didn’t have the guts to ask. I gave them a list of best restaurants in town. They were in a cart but Ernie and I walked so am nursning sore joints, feet and almost everything else.
