They want to take ’em up but don’t yet seem to have the muscle. Dow up 90 but internals weak. Zero new highs and over three-hundred new lows. Volume pretty good at over 700 million at 1pm.
Gold getting whacked hard. At $970/oz and looks like its headed to at least $950. Scuttled my gold shares this morning and looking to get back in.
Autos and Trucks the best sector on the day. That should tell you all there is needed to know about this confused market.
Bernanke testimony rallied things a bit but then petered out.
My guess? Probably not much happening this afternoon as traders await clarification from the President this evening.
