This is not a huge movie but very good. You always know you are watching a film yet the acting is very, very fine. Plus, it reveals an era that preceded rock and roll when “race” music was unable to cross-over to white mainstream. Beyonce’ produced, acts and sings Etta James hits. Especially riveting were Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters and Eamonn Walker as Howling Wolf. If you have an interest in early rock and roll, as I do, this is a must-see. Pam even liked it, a lot!
